Full job description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces in office areas, meeting rooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
  • Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated containers, ensuring proper waste management practices are followed.
  • Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and countertops, and replenish supplies as needed.
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and office equipment regularly to prevent the spread of germs.
    • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained at all times.
    • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution.
    • Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and thoroughly.
    • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
    • Assist with special cleaning projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management team.
    • Uphold professional standards of conduct and customer service while interacting with employees and visitors.
    • Requirements:
      • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
      • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in office cleaning.
      • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
      • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment as needed.
      • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
      • Good communication skills and the ability to interact courteously with colleagues and visitors.
