Nanny/Childcare Assistant
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nanny/Childcare Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in providing quality care and support to children in their homes or in our daycare facility. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children, have a nurturing demeanor, and be committed to creating a safe and stimulating environment for young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and social development.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children, following dietary guidelines and preferences.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as tidying up play areas and children’s rooms.
- Communicate effectively with parents to provide updates on children’s progress and address any concerns or questions.
- Follow established routines and schedules to maintain consistency and stability for children.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably as a nanny, childcare assistant, or in a daycare setting.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a nurturing demeanor.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with children and parents.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
